My Favorite Things About October

October is my favorite month of the year (and my birthday month ~ October 11th) so I always love to reflect on all the beauty this month brings.

So far this year, I’ve visited a pumpkin garden, picked apples and pears at a gorgeous orchard, baked cookies, made tons of overnight oats, had a pumpkin latte, deep cleaned our home, reorganized our living room, got a fresh haircut, ate many pieces of sourdough bread, swapped out my summer closet with fall items from my storage closet, and enjoyed many candlelit dinners.

With this being my first fall with a baby, I’m absolutely loving seeing life through his eyes. Everyday we go on bike rides around the canal and stop at the park. He gets so much joy from crunching the leaves between his fingers and watching the boats pass by.

I recorded a podcast episode sharing more of my favorite fall activities, foods and mindset shifts from years past and intentions for this season. You can tune in here:
