Postcard Worthy Fall Date Ideas
Going on adorable dates with my partner is seriously one of my greatest joys in life. He’s always on board with my ideas (and even helps amplify them) which I am so grateful for because I love romanticizing our lives, taking photos and creating these special memories.
Here are 5 of my favorite fall dates we’ve been on over the last few years!
1. Book a cozy cabin - browse airbnb and vrbo to find a cute cabin near you. The location doesn’t matter too much as it’s about spending quality alone time together.
This one is literally in Iowa lol but it was more about spending time together and time off our phones. Slow mornings making breakfast, playing board games, making a bonfire, reading and going on bike rides.
2. Patio Sunset Dinner - this was also at an airbnb in the middle of nowhere, but you could definitely do it at home (we do all the time too!)
We got groceries to cook together. Eating outside is one of my favorite things. It’s so cozy to snuggle up under a blanket, put on a vibey playlist, light a candle, eat slowly and watch the sun go down.
3. Pumpkin Patch - we actually grew up in the same city so we both have fond memories going here as kids.
It was so fun to relive those experiences as an adult… going on the hayrack ride, into the haunted house, getting hot cider and caramel corn, looking at all the different pumpkins and gourds. So sweet!
4. Coffee Trail Walk - perfect for a slow Saturday or Sunday morning when you have some extra time.
Drive to a neighborhood that’s different than your own for a change of scenery. On the way, get some takeaway coffees and walk around to look at all the pretty homes and architecture.
5. Downtown Drinks - even though I don’t really drink alcohol anymore I still think it’s fun to go to bars on occasion, especially if it’s a nicer aesthetic themed spot!
The bar we went to is a retro themed spot and they print the drink menu on CDs which is super creative.
