Library Card

I absolutely loved to read as a kid and through high school but once I went to college, I had so much required textbook reading that I really forgot about my passion of reading for pleasure!

My podcast co-host (Ceara) had been raving about getting a library card for well over a year.

One day I decided to go check out the library branch nearby… and oh my gosh I am totally kicking myself for not getting a library card sooner! They’re literally FREE.

And it’s not just reading books for free book that’s amazing but access to the library in general. A lot of my work can be done remotely so it’s nice to get out of the house and I typically go to a coffeeshop but I don’t always want to spend money on a beverage and a lot of coffeeshops close in early afternoon.

Most libraries are open until 7/8/9pm on weekdays so they’re a great spot to get a bunch of work or studying done! or simply to get out of the house and have some quiet time. My branch has private study rooms as well.

I hope this convinces you. It’s been really life changing for me!
