Cooking At Home ~ Delicious Eats I Made This Week
Last week I went to the library to I get a few nutrition and cook books. Reading about other people’s food and body journeys really inspired me to reflect on my own relationship with food and to prioritize home cooked meals this week.
Over the past few years, I have slowwwly gone from hating cooking / thinking it’s an inconvenience / a hassle etc ~ to ~ honoring the ingredients, loving the process and recognizing it as fueling my body.
Now I think it’s so much fun to go to the grocery store. I feel like a kid in a candy shop! My all time favorite grocery store is Natural Grocers (read all about why on this post).
I have been playing a podcast episode while meal prepping and cooking, which definitely seems like a positive habit stacking idea!
I can learn, be entertained, do something with my hands and am rewarded with a nourishing meal at the end.
