Compliments Not About Appearance

Say these instead of “you’re pretty / handsome”

Of course we all enjoy hearing compliments about our looks but it constantly reinforces our very visual society and ALL of us have so much more to offer than how we look.

In fact, my favorite compliments to receive actually have nothing to do with my looks. I posted a reel the other day about my career as a business owner and got so many nice compliments on my work ethic, creativity and perseverance. someone even said “you’re a genius” and I still keep thinking about how much joy these comments brought to me.
